The Good News of Jesus Christ: Here is a clear presentation, by Matthias Media, of the message that is the core, purpose and passion of our lives.

The blazingly beautiful, powerful truth of God's good sovereignty in all of life was not something I grew up understanding, but was knocked over by in my early twenties, largely as I read "The Pleasures of God", by John Piper. The book is best, but this sermon, is also a good snapshot for a brief introduction.

Here is a message that has resounded in my head and heart for 8 years since I heard it shared in TN. Few, if any, teachings have impacted my life more. It's titled "Boasting Only in the Cross," also by John Piper.

We recently listened to an excellent teaching by Richard Pratt, one of Matt's favorite professors at seminary. I have been heartily compelled by these words. Consider with us this teaching on Jesus' emphasis in "the Lord's Prayer."
